Meet The Team

We strive to meet your needs, manage your risks, and help you recover from the unexpected in an empathetic and professional manner.

Holly McMillin

Owner & Principle Agent

Holly began her insurance career in 2008, and three years later opened the agency offering her expertise in a way that bridged empathy with risk management.

Holly is a native of Gallatin, Tennessee, a small town just north of Nashville, and made her way to Bourbon County by way of her husband, who has been involved in the horse industry his entire life.

Her community values and business experience are integral to our agency. Providing guidance and being a client’s friend on their worst day is a crucial part of her service, which differentiates Holly McMillin Insurance from other agencies. She is proud to offer farm insurance services and serve the farming community, which she feels close to her heart.

Holly loves to meet new people and form long term relationships with her clients. When Holly is out of the office, she enjoys cooking and entertaining for friends and family, traveling, attending races with her husband, and spending time with her two daughters.

Callie Thornton

Associate Agent

A native of Bourbon County, Callie was raised on her family farm and always has been passionate about serving people she grew up with. She specializes in helping farmers and cattle transporters by sharing her knowledge and expertise in risk management and coverage.

Callie attended Bluegrass Community and Technical College, where she studied marketing and began her career at Holly McMillin Insurance in 2018 as a Customer Relations Specialist, and went on to earn her P&C License in January of 2019.

In her spare time, Callie lends a hand on the farm, spends quality time with friends, or experiments in the kitchen with different recipes.
